Ex UKIP chief Henry Bolton decided in his evident wisdom to go on This Morning…

The disgraced leader, who resigned his party membership last night, said Jo Marney was worth losing the leadership for.

He has a “lot of things in my personal life” to sort out, as the seemingly happy pair announced the relationship is back on.

Jo Marney, 25, said the language of her nasty, racist messages was “not good”.

She claims she wanted to “shock… but they don’t reflect my views, and I didn’t mean to cause offence”.

UKIP Confirmed Bolton is out.

Gerard Batten, the interim leader, said this will  “draw a line under a sad period for Ukip”.

Outgoing Press officer, Gawain Towler, seemed to enjoy not being the current press officer..

Henry Bolton was forced to face an EGM, following a Vote of No Confidence in his leadership by the NEC ruling exec of UKIP.

However, he failed to impress at that EGM, reportedly threatening to sue the party if he lost..

He lost the vote decisively, and was booted from the leadership role.
