Independent UK Brexit backing MEP Diane James talks about what is being left out of the Brexit negotiations. She opens by saying the date on which the UK public voted to leave the European Union; “marked a turning point in the UK’s immigration policy”
Ms James continues by saying: “…The UK has had consecutive governments promising to control our borders, and reduce immigration. The targets set were NEVER met, and promises were ALWAYS broken, because of the European Union’s rules on the free movement of EU citizens.”
She then strongly states: “For the first time in decades the United Kingdom government SHOULD have the power to control immigration”
