covid-19

Negative headlines have dominated the press surrounding COVID-19, almost as if the population needed to be given fear to obey. Quite worrying in a society that boasts about its freedoms. So, it is time to spread positive news – the South West region of England has currently had no reported deaths in the hospital setting for the 9th and 10th of June. Statista puts the population of the region at around 5.56 million, and in June the South West has currently only had 155 reported lab-confirmed cases of the virus – June 14th reported no lab confirmed cases at all.

The questions that should now be on everyone’s mind are: “Was the lockdown the right thing to do?” & “Should lockdown now end?”
