Shocking video footage of Jeremy Corbyn in an interview with Iranian state run PressTV has emerged where Mr Corbyn explains that:

“There’s pressure on the BBC from, probably, [then-BBC director general] Mark Thompson, who seems to me to have an agenda in this respect. There seems to be a great deal of pressure on the BBC from the Israeli government, from the Israeli embassy, and they are very assertive towards all journalists and toward the BBC itself. They challenge every single thing on reporting the whole time.”

He goes on to state:

“I think there is a bias towards saying that Israel is a democracy in the Middle East, Israel has a right to exist, Israel has its security concerns”

It will be interesting to see if this is investigated as part of the new measures The Labour Party claim to have put in place with their Code of Conduct to prevent more anti-Semitic behaviour in the party. Jeremy Corbyn himself has reiterated in both his recent Andrew Neil interview and while presenting a conference on the NHS and trade, that these new measures are a lot stricter.
