4. Bob Neill
Robert James MacGillivray “Bob” Neill is barrister, after taking a law degree at the London School of Economics and specilised in criminal law. Between January 2013 and March 2015 he served as a substitute member on the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Neill was strongly opposed to Brexit prior to the 2016 EU referendum, and has a habit of rebellion after also defying the Party whip to vote in favour of New Clause 110 of the European Union (Notification of Withdrawal) Bill. He is a freemason, and since 2008, Neill has claimed an allowance for a second home outside London, despite his constituency home being only 12 miles from Westminster.
